Power to the People only becomes a reality when people get involved. Let’s face it, in these tough times, people are facing cynicism, burnout, and time constraints, but people still choose to volunteer for things they care about. In this era, we need to develop a strategy that recognizes why people volunteer in the first place, then to strategically recruit more activists and build our movement. Power to the People will look at the barriers we are currently facing and explore different tactics to recruit fresh blood into our organizations in order to build power.
